About Me

I’m a mum of 3 children under 6. Three years ago, browsing on eBay, I was seduced by the romance of an unfinished 1930’s butterfly quilt from Ohio. On a whim I bought it and determined to learn how to finish the quilt, and so my patchwork obsession was born.

I started making cot quilts for my own 3 children. I made a couple of ‘kits’ for friends to make into quilts for their babies, and so MD&M was in business.

My children’s quilts have been loved and cuddled, sat on, slept under and wrapped around. They are blankies and snugglers, den roofs, car blankets and poorly comforters. They are woven into the patchwork of my children's lives and their memories of childhood. I know your quilt will become someone’s treasured possession too.
